Hello! I’m Sarah, a 28-year-old from England who is travelling in Latin America for the year 🌎

My main passions are people and the planet. Before my trip I worked as a Sustainability Consultant, advising companies in different industries on how to improve the sustainability of their business and contribute to a more innovative and less wasteful society. I specialise in the Circular Economy ♻️. I spend my free time going to live music, art galleries, flea markets, the theatre etc 🎷🎨🎭

I joined Workaway as I want to spend my year connecting with locals and other travellers, learning Spanish and developing new knowledge and skills relating to sustainability 🌱 I’m interested in eco-related opportunities, including permaculture, conservation, organic farming and sustainable construction.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My current skills include communication, organisation and administration.

Through Workaway projects I am developing skills relating to sustainable agriculture and conservation. So far I have spent three weeks working at an organic farm, one week at an urban permaculture project, and two weeks at a turtle conservation programme. While this may not be lots of experience, I’m an enthusiastic and fast learner who is keen to get their hands dirty!
