Description

I am a creative and nature loving girl. I am passionate about community building, environmental and social justice, and art. I am also a very spiritually motivated individual looking to reconnect with nature and myself.

I currently am taking a semester break from college in New York City, where I am studying fine arts and environmental studies. I am hoping that during this time I can make connections with others from all different backgrounds, lend a helping hand where needed, and learn about different ways of life.

In my free time I love to knit, crochet, read, spend time outside or with animals, and I also have a daily yoga practice that keeps me grounded. I am also looking to pick up new hobbies, like playing the banjo and quilting.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a variety of skills that could be useful to any number of hosts. I have the most experience in animal care and crafting, but I'm a quick learner and willing to do almost any task with enthusiasm.

Although I don't have much construction or building experience, I do have basic woodworking and metalsmith skills that could come in handy anywhere. Through my studies in fine arts, I have been able to work with a variety of materials and I'm not afraid to get messy. I am deeply creative and can help with any artistic or craft pursuits that a host might need, whether it be creating signage or building small projects.

I am also passionate about working outdoors and learning about sustainable farming practices. With some guidance, I would love to learn about homesteads and what it takes to run one, through hands on practice of course :)

Additionally, I am able to cook, clean, and help with any house chores that need to be done. I see the deep value in all sorts of labor and I am ready to be immersed in whatever projects a host might have for me.
