Hello :)
My name is Sara and I am 25 years old. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Social Care Work in September last year. After working and saving up, I have now set off on a backpacking journey through **Asia** for the next 6–8 months.
I’m a friendly, open-minded, and reliable person with plenty of experience living and working as part of a community. While I can be a little introverted at times, I also see my calm and grounded presence as one of my strengths when working and living with others.
I’m passionate about learning from new cultures and developing new skills, which is a big motivation for me in applying to Workaway. During my time traveling through Asia, I’m really hoping for meaningful exchanges where I can contribute, support the community I’m part of, and learn from the people around me.
I don’t want to simply travel from place to place as a tourist. I’m much more interested in forming genuine connections, sharing experiences, and being involved in everyday life in the places I visit. Making a positive contribution, however small, is something that’s very important to me while I’m on this journey.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I grew up in a multicultural household and therefor speak fluently English, German and have a limited understanding of Moroccan :) As I studied I studied Social Care Work, I also have a lot of experience in working with people. I also know what it’s like to be part of a Team and have therefor learnt a lot about positive communication with others!
