Description

Hi! I’m an Italian energy engineer currently travelling and exploring different ways of contributing to local communities.

I have an MSc in Energy for Development and around 8 years of professional experience in renewable energy, including project work, business development and leading small teams. I’m reliable, practical and used to taking responsibility, but I’m also looking for experiences that are very different from my usual professional life.

I enjoy working with people and children, and I’d be happy to help with English, sports, yoga, creative activities, drama/improv or other community projects. I also enjoy getting involved in everyday tasks and learning from local people rather than just being a tourist.

I speak fluent Italian, English and Spanish, and I’m easy-going, curious and respectful of different cultures. I love nature, the ocean, surfing, hiking and yoga, and I’m particularly interested in experiencing everyday life in a local village and contributing something useful while I’m there.

I’m travelling independently and would love to meet other volunteers as well as local families and communities.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a broad mix of professional, teaching, creative and outdoor skills that I’d be happy to contribute to a project.
Teaching & working with people: I have experience communicating and working with people from very different backgrounds, and I’m comfortable explaining ideas clearly and adapting to different levels. I speak fluent Italian, English and Spanish. I would be particularly happy to help children with English through conversation, games and interactive activities rather than only formal lessons.
Yoga & physical activities: I practise yoga regularly and have experience teaching yoga. I enjoy sports and outdoor activities and would be happy to organise simple yoga, stretching, fitness, games or other physical activities for children or communities.
Drama & creativity: I have several years of experience doing improvisational theatre and have performed and trained extensively in improv. I enjoy using games, storytelling, theatre and creativity to help people become more confident and have fun. I could organise simple drama/improv workshops or creative activities for children.
Professional & organisational skills: I have an MSc in Energy for Development and around 8 years of experience in renewable energy, project management, business development and team leadership. I have led small teams, organised projects, analysed problems and developed practical solutions. I can also contribute to sustainability, environmental awareness, community projects, research, planning or organisational tasks.
Practical & community work: I’m happy to get involved beyond my specific skills. I enjoy cooking, helping with everyday tasks, working outdoors, organising activities, cleaning, DIY and simply being part of the community. I’m independent, responsible and comfortable adapting to simple living conditions.
