I'm planning on travelling around New Zealand with a backpack and my tent. During my 6 months stay, I want to both travel independently and be as close to nature as possible and also do some Workaway!
Description
Hi!
I'm a 19-year-old German guy looking forward to exploring the south side of the planet in New Zealand! I've worked most summers and holidays, and I have now finished high school. Before I continue with my education, I am taking a year to travel and work.
I will take only the most necessary equipment in a backpack with me. While I haven't created any fixed plans for my stay in New Zealand, I want to spend about half of the time there as a Workawayer. I would like to be part of your family or projects, spending time with you after work, cooking and talking about interesting topics.
The people close to me describe me as a hearty but direct, open and adaptive person. I am willing (and looking forward) to learn new skills and can't wait to meet new faces. I love to cook and am ready to expand my culinary horizon as well!
I like the outdoors. I camp and fish, and I've ridden my bike thousands of kilometres across Europe.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Because I wanted to learn and master everything interesting I stumbled upon, I have acquired a diverse range of skills. I'm a quick study who really shines when it comes to technical work. Here are a few of my core skills:
- Gardening experience (my father owns a landscape business). Pruning, building, cutting, botanical knowledge.
- Construction experience - woodworking, building chicken coop, laying tiles, painting,
renovations. I have worked summers and holidays helping my aunt and uncle restore a big farm in the south of France.
- Summer job assembling tools at Bosch industries
- Physically skilled and not shy of demanding work
- Handling of animals
