Hallo, ich liebe es frei zu sein, die Welt zu entdecken und dabei die unterschiedlichsten Menschen, Gebräuche, Lebensweisen und vieles mehr zu entdecken.
Es zieht mich immer wieder in die Ferne, sei es in Deutschland oder woanderst auf der Welt. Meine Motivation ist auch, seine Sicht auf die Welt und das Leben verändern zu können und sich auf neue spannende und unbekannte Dinge einzulassen.
Ich kann tatkräftig mit anpacken, freue mich darüber einen Teil von Projekten zu sein und lerne gerne neue Fähigkeiten.
Und ich liebe Tiere und freue mich auf neue Begegnungen mit Menschen.

Marc was in the Valencia area and contacted me last minute for a possible 1week stay. His timing was truly a blessing and am delighted to have hosted him on finca.
Our first project was reed and bramble cutting to clear all overgrowth around springs area, isolate and fix leak in the little catchment basin and creatively protect water channels… read more from being cluttered with leaves and soil. Marc excelled in all by his willingness, creativity and determination. He was always super positive and energetic. Marc was also very brave in submerging his head (snorkel goggles on to isolate leaks) ... and later even squeezed his body into the small basin just for the challenge in the ice cold water. He was always super understanding of current water and electricity limitation given my need to modify the systems but doing so is a greater project than 2 people can do alone.
Our next projects were rather frustrating us both working together to put up 2 rows of roof gutters using what materials we had on site and needing to adapt the limited extra bought to fit in with what we had. It was truly more a game of patience than rock science technology, but diligently we plodded on rummaging for the needed nuts and bolts and other usable from all the loose hardware scattered on workbench counter and in garages.
Marc very kindly extended his stay not only for doing guttering, but also to finish smaller tasks (2 years unaddressed and materials just hanging about) so we placed and secured door mouldings and heavy mirrors to walls, even extended legs to bed frames (again in unconventional manner) plus hung 2 cupboard doors to hide 4 butane bottles stored in an odd masonry structure (not one straight edge) with objective to eliminate sneak in options for rodents to take advantage of out of reach of dogs and cats.
To those reading now, perhaps our accomplishments may not seem super extraordinary, but they were a challenge to anyone´s good will - and I know from experience - few would have handled these tasks so well with the tons of patience Marc applied himself to mutter up in order to achieve the end functioning results.
I was truly sorry to see Marc leave yesterday but I am very grateful for his most helpful constructive overall series of "tick the box done" results and having shared a few weeks together.
As a house guest Marc is discreet, fun to be around, easy to talk and most personable. He eating habits are simple and healthy. All my pets loved him too and he was kind and thoughtful to all. I do believe he made most of the unseasonal wonderful weather we had and most days was able to run, go hiking and/or discovering the surround area on his consecutive days off. I do hope our paths meet again and most sincerely wish Marc "my friend" the very best in all his undertakings in his life journey ahead.

Marc stayed with me for two weeks, because, lucky me, he extended his stay. :) He helped me with lots of things around the house, like gardening, cutting trees, painting a wall and fixing some small things. Vielen Dank für die wunderbare Zeit die ich bei/mit dir verbringen konnte. Maike eine super Gastgeberin und Gesprächspartner. Sie hat ne positive Art an, ich hab den Aufenthalt genossen.
Danke auch für die gemeinsamen Surftrips und Ausflüge.
