Hey everybody, we are Salome and Simon, a german Couple and we are currently travelling through Europe.

Meet Simon:
I am 25 years old and I grew up in Germany and Namibia. After highschool I did a voluntary social year in South Africa,where i had different working fields (like computerschool and teaching children). I studied afterwards and finished University 2 years ago. Since then I travelled through Middle- and South America and worked for almost a year as a personal assistant for a person with disabilities in Germany. During my trips through America i fell in Love with being on the way,meet new people with totally different backgrounds and to gain experiences from different Situations.
I am a very social person and i am also very interested in history and sports.

Meet Salome:
I am 23 years old and I just finished my bachelor. After highschool I was working and travelling in Canada for almost a year. I had a really great WorkAway experience helping in a small hostel. Lately I did an internship in the field of outdoor and adventure pedagogy and I really loved it! During my internship I realized that being outside and surrounded by children is my passion. I grew up close to the mountains that's why I like hiking and spending time in the nature. I would describe myself as a curious person who is always open to experience a new adventure and to learn something new.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Salome: I really like to meet people and to listen to their stories. I would describe myself as a person who is very curious and loves to learn something new. As I mentioned before I did a Work & Travel in Canada and I also spent one semester in Finland. In the past I was already working in a café, in a hotel and I did different internships. For our trip I would really love to work on a farm, in an eco-project, learn something about gardening, build things and just spend a lot of time outside :) I really like cooking, preparing meals and baking vegan stuff and would be happy to improve my skills.

Simon: I have a lot of fun working with people. During my studies I was working as a voluntary football coach for children with disabilities for almost two years and it was so much fun. Like Salome, I am also very curious and interested in learning new Skills,facts and much more. I have working experience in a home for elderly, I worked with disabled People(as mentioned before), I gave workshops (for example about racism and climate change) for youthgroups and children. I love to be outside, to work in the garden and just being in the nature.


We are both really interested in sports - doesn't matter if it's football, basketball, biathlon, icehockey or any other sport - we love watching it and also to try anything new. We also love to play board and card games, to read and of course to travel!
We are also stressresistent and reliable.

Autres infos...

I (Salome) have a diving licence and I love to spend time in the water. If there is any possibility on our trip to dive somewhere, I will be the first one to join ;)
