Hello world,
I'm Sakina, travelling through Southeast and East Asia. I love to explore the world and discover about new cultures.
I have a master in environmental sciences and lived in New Zealand for a year and a half, where I worked in ecological restoration.
I want to be involved in innovative purposes as I'm exploring Southeast Asia, and be fully part of the local way of life. That way, I don't aim to be a "tourist" but a "traveler", and I believe that the most authentic way of travelling is by meeting local people ("Those who travel without meeting the other do not travel, they move." Alexandra David Neel).
I am a quick learner, responsible and adaptive. I also am an animal lover and was involved in many projects regarding animal well-being. I have many experiences of Workaway in farms, and did my share of house/farm-sitting and farm maintenance.
I am a vegetarian, like cooking pizzas and love any meal involving potatoes and cheese. I also like baking cookies and make chocolate mousse. I love hiking, fitness and yoga. I'm very independent, so sometimes I just prefer to do things by myself (such as travelling around the world, for instance), but I try to get myself out of my comfort zone, and like to team up with motivated people. I try to stay open-minded and curious about the world.
Goal in life : find a way to develop power of teleportation.
