Hola,
we are a couple 52 and 50 years and spend our sabbatical in Latin America (we're still learning Spanish so I write in English).
We are looking for a place where we can experience local culture and make friends. We would like to grow or harvest vanilla, pepper, cacao, coffee, fruit and others but we also have other skills: woodwork, tree cutting, building (we build our own pizza oven), water, teaching, Microsoft Office, German, French, English, finance, accounting, truck & motorboat license, watersport teaching: windsurfing, kiting, diving. somos una pareja de 52 y 50 años y pasar nuestro año sabático en América Latina. Hemos estado aprendiendo español desde octubre. Estamos buscando un lugar donde podamos experimentar la cultura local y hacer amigos. Nos gustaría cosechar vainilla, pimienta, cacao, café, frutas y otros. Pero también tenemos otras habilidades: carpintería, tala de arboles, (construimos nuestro propio horno de pizza), agua, enseñanza, microsoft office, alemán, francés, inglés, finanzas, licencia contable, de camiones y lanchas motoras, enseñanza de deportes acáticos, windsurf, kite, buceo, cocer, cocinar. Are everything you hoped or wished for...
In every task they were given, they met and exceeded all our expectations. This included professional electrical wiring, sanding and painting, home-cooked German meals, and we felt totally comfortable leaving our homes in their hands while we were away.
