Hello, my name is Rudy. I am 20 years old and was born and raised in Germany. My family lives in a house in a village a few kilometres outside Erfurt, Thuringia. Since I was born I have always been in contact with animals. My family owned several dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, rabbits and horses. All in all, I was raised to be very fond of animals. Therefore, as a workawayer, I am totally open and committed to dealing with a wide variety of animals. Especially for dogs I feel a special affection. But I would also have fun working with plants or doing various gardening tasks. Even though I haven't had much experience in this respect yet. Above all, I would like to get to know new people and traditions. Just as I would like to hike through beautiful landscapes and gain practical experience after 12 years of mainly theoretical instruction at school. Another thing that is very important to me is to improve my English skills, as I want to study in English after my gap year. I also love food, late nights and good conversations and discussions. I am looking forward to meeting many new people and having unforgettable experiences.

I want to learn new things and gain a lot of experience. After school, I would especially like to gain practical experience and learn practical work, e.g. in dealing with animals and plants, and to develop myself further in this respect. In addition, I would like to improve my English skills. I am looking forward to experiencing special moments, exploring landscapes and having beautiful encounters.

We both want to improve our English skills, as we plan to study in English in the Netherlands after the gap year. Especially the ability to speak, which is clearly not trained enough in school lessons, is our main focus.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Basically, we are not too shy for any work and have the need to learn new activities and skills. We are both quite quick on the uptake and should be able to cope with almost any instruction independently after a short period of assistance. Overall, we are quite independent young people and reliable. We are both fit and motivated to deal with harder work and to be a real help to our hosts. Whether in the household, with the children, in the garden or with pets and farm animals, we look forward to every new challenge. We both already have work experience in different areas such as retail, service, but also stable work.

Rudy:
I played football for 7 years. And have been playing golf for 6 years now. I'm very interested in sports overall, especially ball and racing sports. Otherwise I like to spend time with my friends and family and especially with the animals.

Luise:
I have been dancing for 14 years and go jogging a lot with my father. I like to go out with my friends and go to concerts with them. I also love good books and walks in nature.
