Hello! I'm Rosie, from England. I've lived in Brittany (France) more than 10 years now.

Currently in a 2 month trip to the USA (22nd Aug to 2nd November)

I'm travelling solo in the Appalachian Mountains! I have no idea if this will be easy with a tent and a fiddle, ...and no car ... but hey! The rough plan is to head northwards through the Virginias/ and towards New England (Boston/New York) by the Fall, go to a fiddle camp in Vermont and leave the USA (back to France) beginning of November. That said, these plans are reeeeally vague right now. I have signed up to Wwoofing too because I love to be busy, and outdoors.

My day job is as an English teacher at the local University, but I've done lots of random things: living at and picking flowers/leaves for a herbal tea farm, helping on a smallholding with local breed cows, itinerant radio shows, bike packing in my region, volunteering at local festivals and in my neighbourhood project...

I play the fiddle (self taught, but with a lot of enthusiasm)... mainly Scottish/Irish/Cajun tunes... I play the flute too. Big fan of traditional music in general.

I would love to hike in America, in the woods and go up some hills! I love to cycle.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have been a Wwoofer in the past (2017), in 3 farms/homesteads in the USA. It was great!
I have lived on a herbal tea farm in a wooden dome cabin for a few years, which was good for combatting my fear of spiders. I also have experience moving cows to different fields.

I can play music and love to have a jam and listen to others.
I can make Breton crepes.
My friends describe me as "amusing", "clean", "organised" and "silly".
We can speak French if you like!

I am very sociable and love to meet new people and work on projects.

I am a skilled player of the famous board game "Connect 4", which is like a child's version of chess if you don't know it.

I like to travel on trains, and jumping into rivers (not from trains though).
