We are hoping to connect with nature and learn about Mexican culture during our travels! We are avid photography and videography enthusiasts and also really enjoy live music!

Hello there,
We are Rosanna aka Rosie (27, French Dutch) and Emre aka Ray (37, Turkish Dutch), currently on a long break from our routine, at the moment together in Mexico to strengthen our bond, reconnect with nature, explore new places, meet new people and rediscover our creative selves.
Rosie is currently preparing to sign up to a Photography School back home in Toulouse, France after our travels and Ray is exploring his own path in Audio Visuals and has taken a close interest in Country Music as part of this journey.
Since we are planning to travel as long as we possibly can and we willing to meet people and dive into the Mexican culture, we are looking for workaways that will allow these cultural exchanges.
Rosie already has some experience as a workawayer after having volunteered for a month at a campsite in Germany back in 2019 - which was also a self-sufficient community, as well as volunteering in Montreal and Nova Scotia in Canada for 1.5 months last summer of 2024 - helping out with cleaning, cooking, gardening, overall maintenance and farm work.
As for Ray, he is very excited to build on his past volunteering experience and start a workaway journey as we always love the experience of living with others coming from all around the world and gaining a more local perspective during our travels.
Collectively speaking we are fluent in English, French, Turkish and hoping to improve our beginner Spanish level.
We are very social, lively and easy going people who enjoy exploring our joint love for yoga, mediation as well as listening to (and playing) live music. We are very excited about having the opportunity to meet and get inspired from your way of life and the stories of other fellow volunteers to enrich our time in Mexico before we start our new lives together.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I've been living abroad for 3 years now, which taught me to be autonomous, to quickly adapt to new environment and to become fluent in English (not native speaker level though, let's not exaggerate).
I can help out with housekeeping tasks as well as gardening or helping out with construction projects. I would also be willing to work in a camping or hostel, as I already did it for a sustainable camping in Germany back in 2019 (also via workaway). Back then I helped out with cleaning, cooking (for over 30 people), constructions on the campsite and sometimes helping out at the bar.
And last but not least I am always willing to learn new things !
