Hi :)
I'm Ronja, 21 years old and I'm studying medicine.
Recently I'm taking a semester off to do some internships (I did my first one in a hospital on the Northern Sea and the next will be in Leipzig, Germany). Afterwards I want to travel to Canada for three months (from July to the end of September). Because besides medicine, I'm an adventurous, open minded Globetrotter. I love nature and traveling, as well as cycling, hiking, running, climbing and swimming. I'm also into listening to good music (I play the guitar), reading books, cooking vegetarian food, baking and sometimes I also love the calm, watching sunsets and stars.
I think Workaway is such a nice way to get to know new people, cultures and sharing experiences.
I'm really looking forward to traveling in Canada and to getting to know new inspiring people and helping out with different projects! :)

I learned French and Spanish in school, as a little time has passed since then, I want to refresh those languages. The next new language I want to learn is Swedish. Maybe I could help you with learning German or English. :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

There are different fields, in which I might help out.
I already did a Workaway - on a little farm in Denmark, together with two friends and we had such a nice time! (I have a new profile, because this time I'll be traveling alone.) Our main tasks were houshold and garden chores as cooking, cleaning the house, harvesting apples, mowing the lawn and helping with cutting trees and building a fence. Furthermore we were also involved in homeschooling the children, which I personally really liked. As I have two younger brothers I have experience with childcare and I really like spending time with them (maybe I'm going to be a pediatrician in the future..). And although I'm not a doctor yet, I already have some medical knowledge.
Moreover cooking (vegetarian, or also vegan food) and baking are things I enjoy doing. As my mother tongue is german, I could also help learning the language.
And beyond that I'm also willing to learn new stuff, especially when it comes to sustainability.
