Hey! I'm Ronan. I'm 23, Canadian, and I've been out and about for a year and a half now. This is my first time using workaway.

I'm from the great lakes region in southern Ontario. I moved around a bunch but I spent a 6 year period on a pig farm which lives among my best childhood memories.

I've been to England and Guernsey the channel island, the Carribean for a long while, and now in Athens looking to explore more of Greece.

Ive worked in a bunch of areas, from farm chores and grocery stores to factories, warehouses, and a hotel. I've been an arborist, doing tree work in multiple countries. I've taken care of multiple people's homes on my travels. And now getting into marketing.

I've wanted to become a 'digital nomad' for a few years now. The idea was inspired by my desire to travel and be financially free to do what I want with my time. In the past few months I've been working for a friend of mine, doing marketing and a few other things for his online brand called Sidewalkflowers. Working for this brand is the first time I've worked because I really want to, not because I have to. It seems my nomad days could be prolonged if we can become successful enough.

I'm a kind person with big dreams and, at times, a poor attention span. I love to be outside, doing physical activities or randomly wondering, just as much as I enjoy being inside on my laptop.

I can't wait to see the world I stumble across next. Whatever it is it'll be good fun.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can take down any tree anywhere. I know how to care for most common types of tree in Canada and eager to learn about Greek trees if the opportunity presents. I've lived with dogs and cats my whole life and will until I the day I die. I raised pigs for a while on our farm, that was a long time ago but I love farm animals and tending land. I like to run, swim, and climb mountains so I'm reasonably fit (mostly). Any chance to work with boats is welcomed as I recently bought one and would like to learn all about them. My computer skills are average but quickly growing, I'm dipping my pinky toe into coding for web development and data analysis, eventually want to create some cool products and plugins and stuff. Social media marketing/sales is becoming a big focus in my life right now.

My skills are quite limited and I'm not looking for a job as much as a little short-term community of sorts
