Hi! My name is Romy and I am a recently graduated veterinarian. I've had the opportunity to live in different countries throughout my life and studies, and few things are as fulfilling to me as connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. One of my favorite ways to communicate is through music.
I feel most at peace when I am surrounded by nature, as it brings me a deep sense of calm. I am passionate about learning about wild animals and how they interact with their environment.

I would be glad to interact in any languages I know: help people learning the ones I am fluent in (English and French), and get help to maintain the ones I am learning myself (Spanish and German). I would also be interested to learn new languages, although I have not yet decided which ones, I guess it depends on the local languages of the country I'm in.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I studied veterinary medicine for 5 years, during which I completed numerous internships across different sectors of the field. This has provided me with strong skills in animal husbandry, and I've gained valuable experience in managing stressful situations with a calm and practical approach. Throughout my internships, I also developed the ability to work effectively in teams and to interact with clients from diverse backgrounds.

In addition to my studies, I have volunteered at dog shelters and emergency refugee centers. These experiences have deepened my compassion, resilience, and ability to work in challenging environments while supporting those in need, whether they are animals or people.

I also worked for a summer at a campground, where I took on various roles such as server, receptionist, barmaid, and shop assistant. These roles further strengthened my adaptability, customer service skills, and ability to multitask in busy environments.

I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, camping, or simply exploring new places. I’m also passionate about sports, including climbing, yoga, acrobatics, and team sports.

In my downtime, I enjoy reading, writing, and playing music. I’m currently teaching myself to play both the guitar and piano. Additionally, I have a creative side and enjoy crocheting.
