My name is Romane, I’m 21 years old and I recently finished my studies in product design, specializing in crafts and industry. I’m from Ardèche, France, and I’m Franco-Peruvian, so I speak French and Spanish fluently. I’m passionate about hands-on work and traditional craft techniques; I love experimenting, discovering new ways of doing things, and learning from others.

I’m a curious and enthusiastic person who enjoys sharing positivity and good energy. Teamwork, listening, and exchanging skills are very important to me. Always ready to jump in and explore new cultures, I’d be thrilled to contribute to a project while immersing myself in a fresh environment! 🌞🌞

Despite my slim frame, I’ve got some strong muscles in the making! 💪Determined, I won’t hesitate to get my shiny Quechua shorts dirty to help out—that’s exactly why I’m here!

After finishing my degree, I decided to take a year to explore new horizons, travel, and improve my English (which still needs some work!). Right now, I’m looking to head to Norway from November to mid-December, where I’d be happy to help with all kinds of tasks. I’m open to everything and eager to learn!

A little more about me: I love gardening (I’ve got a vegetable garden and a nice collection of houseplants) and taking care of animals, who are practically family members to me. I can also paint, cook, clean, and handle household chores. For anything else, just show me and I’ll dive in! 🤪

I find it incredibly rewarding to share knowledge and moments of life with others. I can’t wait to meet you, discover your world, and learn alongside you!!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Alongside my studies, I worked for three years as a waitress in Marseille, which taught me time management, customer service, and how to adapt quickly in dynamic environments. I also had the opportunity to work as a sales assistant in Mexico City, where I developed communication skills and the ability to adapt to a different culture.

In the United States, I worked as a children's activity leader, where I enjoyed organizing creative and interactive activities. I also worked in a campground, where I was responsible for cleaning, organizing rooms, and keeping kitchens in order, which taught me to be thorough and to maintain a well-organized space.

As a graduate in product design with a focus on crafts and industry, I gained solid hands-on experience, especially with crafting and product design techniques. I had the chance to work with various materials and techniques, including weaving, sewing, and object creation, producing unique and functional pieces.

I speak French and Spanish fluently, though my English is not very strong yet—I can only understand simple conversations for now. However, I'm eager to meet people and travel to improve my English! In exchange, I would be happy to help you with learning Spanish or French.

I am also very independent and decided to take a gap year to explore other paths: working, traveling, and meeting new people because I’m eager for new experiences! I’m a positive, dynamic person who loves connecting with others. I enjoy discussing everything and anything. I also enjoy board games, especially strategy and cooperative games where you need to team up to win.

Finally, I am passionate about creative projects, whether it’s drawing, sewing, or DIY. If you’re up for sharing knowledge, playing games, or discussing creativity and design, I would be thrilled to share those moments with you! 🤪
