Description
Hello, I'm Rika and I have been (on and off) travelling for two and a half years. For me travelling mainly as a volunteer makes the most sense for me. Like this I try not only to consume where I am but also to give something back to communities, and of course learning a bunch of crazy new things I had never dared to dream of :) From buildig a house of lod and painting with natural plant paint, process coffee, running a hostel on the beach to rescueing stray cats and dogs up to cooking dishes from several south and central American countries I've learnt a lot in all this time and I am very thankful.
Currently I am the first time travelling Asia and I am very curious about the culture and customs here in Thailand. I would like to work in sustainable and fair projects that meet ecological standards in some way and benefit people and animals.
I am very curious about farming or gardening systems in other countries so I would love to learn about the plants that grow here or help in reforestation.
But first in November 2024 I will start my Yoga Teacher Training 200hrs to hopefully afterwards share my new skills in a beautiful surrounding somewhere in Thailand :-)
I would describe myself as open minded, communicative and positive. Sometimes with a lack of patience (working on that) but willing to learn, grow and give. I'm a silent person for the minutes of the day before I have my first coffee and did my yoga routine ;) I like making jewellery, writing, hiking, riding bycicles and a lot more.
