Description
We are a recently married couple choosing to live out our adventure dreams in this new chapter of our lives. After ten years of friendship, seeing each other through the usual life hardships, we realized we’ve had the most important things in common the whole time. We made our lives together official on Aug 9 this year, sold everything, and set off on a motorcycle trip with the goal of seeing the whole world. We find great joy in riding motorcycles, seeing the landscapes change, practicing our language skills, and making real human connections with people we meet. We are looking for our next landing spot to make a home and are interested in alternative and sustainable building techniques. We aim to travel with intention, respect, and understanding within the communities we pass through.
Erich has a degree in Biology and studied Housing and Urban Development.
Sunshine’s background is in Culture and Regional Studies and has a master’s degree in Sustainable Tourism Development.

We would both like to learn Spanish to an advanced level. Sunshine is working on learning Russian and would love to learn more. We would be more than happy to share our knowledge of English language to help others learn. We are always looking for opportunities to practice and partner with other people for language exchange.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Erich works in high end construction and has also built two homes for himself. He is well versed in all sorts of construction techniques, plumbing, electrical, finishing. He has built several motorcycles and rebuilt car engines. He is a hard worker, not afraid to dive into the dirty stuff. He has spent numerous seasons on commercial fishing boats and has sailing certifications. Erich has also worked in restaurants and as a bartender.
Sunshine is a skilled seamstress and fiber crafter. She is a great cook and has tons of food and restaurant experience including sushi rolling, large scale catering, hosting intimate farm-to-table events, and owning a custom cake business. She managed her family farm for 5 years, hosting agricultural tourism events, partnering with schools to lead educational workshops, raising animals for food and companionship, and selling organic produce. She can milk a goat, butcher a chicken, or dig potatoes with ease.
We both love animals. We both have excellent customer service experience. Erich can juggle.
