Hello I am Renske (25).I am taking a break from the busy life in Ghent. If I can be honest, 2023 was pretty tough for me.
If I had to describe myself I would state that I am inquisitive, friendly, flexible, loving, handy, energetic and playful. Last year I graduated in liberal arts. Now I am mostly into writing, music, theater, drawing and poetry. My latest project was the translation of an old Flemish songbook. I already have a thriving art practice behind me where I have worked on many projects. The reason for my departure from the demanding too busy Ghent is not far to seek; I have had my head in the books for too long and I don't know what is happening around me anymore. I would like to find out which of my handy-man skills I can sharpen, I hope to return with more knowledge and skill in every field, I am open to many things. I would also like to see who I am without the society I grew up in. Am I really who I am or have I just adapted to the busy fast-paced life? Have I lost certain freedoms because of the direction in school I chose? Let's see

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am an artist so I have experience with wood, metal, making music, textile, making video's, writing. I am also a good student and I learn fast so I am not scared of something unknown and I would be happy to learn new skills. That's also one of the reasons I am doing workaway.
