Hello lovely people!! My name is Reena.
After finishing my engineering degree and working in an office job for over a year now, I want to do something different and adventurous, gaining perspective on what to do next.

As I've heard nothing but positive experiences from friends, I think volunteering is the perfect way for me to combine travel with meaningful work 😊

As a solo traveler, I hope to build my self-confidence while forming genuine connections with the people I meet along the way. I love the idea of contributing to someone’s daily life, whether it’s helping with projects around the house, looking after animals, or just supporting where help is needed.


I'm a crafty girl - I love working on creative projects like sewing, crafting, and other small DIYs. In my freetime I also enjoy helping people in my local community and spending time outdoors with my boyfriend, exploring nature and recharging. I love dancing and try to go to dance school with my boyfriend at least once a week - always eager on getting better at it.💃

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have no specific volunteering experience, but I can help and have interest in the following skills 😊

- Physical Work:
Familiar with outdoor and hands-on tasks like gardening, firewood chopping, and general maintenance. I grew up on a large property, which taught me the importance of hard work and responsibility.
- Creativity & Crafting:
Love sewing, crafting, and all sorts of home DIY projects. Mostly altering clothes or making gifts. I enjoy finding creative solutions and working on small projects that require attention to detail. Would love to strengthen my mechanical and handicraft skills, especially on the basis of my engineering degree.
- Household Support & Organization:
Living by myself tought me to be efficient at helping around the house, keeping spaces clean and organized.
- Childcare:
Experienced in looking after children (due to 12 yo brother), including helping with homework and engaging in playful activities. I enjoy working with kids. My mother tongue is German and my English is at C1 level.
- Animal Care:
While I have mostly cared for pets like dogs and cats, I’m eager to learn about and work with other animals on farms.
