Hello there!

Rebekah and Garrett here! We are a couple of adventurous spirits traveling seasonally for the most part. We often do Winters in ski towns and Summers on the Oregon Coast, Southeast Alaska or the Rockies. This Winter, we are considering Southern Oregon in hopes of being closer to family.
Garrett usually does guiding or fun outdoorsy tourism jobs in the Summer and bus driving in the Winters. If I'm not working a fun tourism job outdoors I'm usually in hospitality part or full time and also from home as an independent design contractor on the side.
Garrett has been traveling and doing seasonal work for 15 years. I left home to become a digital nomad in 2018. We met in 2021 and have been glued together ever since. We got married and continued traveling leading a minimalistic lifestyle.
We are both curious about the homestead lifestyle and would like to try a work away experience like this together. We don't know how many years of travel we will do before settling down, but when we do, we hope to have a hobby farm/homestead.
In addition to the hobby farm/homestead experience, we are also on the lookout for the place that feels like home. I found work away volunteering such a great way to get to know a place since it is such a great way to connect with locals.
Garrett has not gotten the chance to do a workaway yet, but I have experience volunteering in Whitefish Montana with an awesome family that got me to stay a few weeks extra since we were having so much fun and really enjoyed connecting. Thank you Debbie and Eric!
All of that to say, we really enjoy connecting with people while working on something bigger than ourselves. We love talking over the dinner table and having great laughs. Thank you for taking the time to read about us!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I consider myself to be a very capable person. Teachable, intelligent, problem solver, meticulous, eye for detail. I am a perfectionist and naturally strive to complete things to the best of my ability. I am looking for work that has me moving and using my hands.

I was raised in a fixer-upper and assisted my parents in a few home projects like painting, organizing, pergo flooring, digging, gardening, assisted in simple building projects.

I was a nanny for many years. The kids were teens so I was more like a chauffeur, errand runner, meal prepping, dog walker and trainer.

I believe myself to be an easy person to live with. I try my best to communicate in a positive and constructive manner. I am NO drama, and do not want to be around any. I appreciate and prefer a cleanly environment and am happy to contribute in the maintenance of my accommodations.

  We are far from picky eaters, but we do like to eat healthy. I try to limit gluten, sugar and processed foods in general. My staple foods are yogurt, granola, fruit, nuts, salads, quinoa, rice, animal proteins and veggies!
