Hi! I am a teacher from San Francisco, and I recently quit my job to take a little time off to travel. I've done a couple workaways in the past and my favorite thing about them has been the ability to meet new people and experience cultures at home, in their most organic state.

I have extensive experience with childcare, most recently I worked with a special education schools to help teach reading skills to students that are behind or disabled.
I am also looking to improve my Spanish, but I'm at somewhere just above beginner right now.

I took up painting during the pandemic and it’s a pretty serious hobby of mine. I haven’t been able to paint since I started traveling and would be thrilled to be involved in any kind of painting/art project.

Bex was with us for a few weeks, she was in change of taking the kids to school and picking them up. And spending time with them. She is responsible, kind, helping us with kitchen stuff. We recommend her.

Sigurd was my first host on workaway and I feel so grateful to have had such a good experience. He makes sure you feel at home in his home, and it is such a beautiful place to stay among the rural nature of Denmark. Visiting the cliffs of Møn, seeing the stars, and the slow farm life in general were all exactly what I was looking for.

Rebecca came when my son, Emile, was here for a vacation and they had a good time sharing their love for literature. Rebecca was always ready to give a hand with whatever was needed, cleaning candlesticks, picking blackberries, cleaning windows and cupboards and weeding between the courtyard cobblestones.
