Hello there, I'm Ryan! I recently graduated college, where I studied biology, and came to Latin America for a gap year to improve my Spanish and volunteer while I apply for medical school. I've embarked on my journey with a strong desire to immerse myself in different cultures and create impactful experiences to take with me in the next chapter of my life. My love for adventure and the outdoors fuels my passion for exploring the world. I enjoy playing all types of sports, hiking, fishing, riding motorcycles, and I am always looking to try new things.

My dedication to learning, strong work ethic, and an unwavering positivity make me a reliable and adaptable volunteer. I am interested in all types of opportunities and am looking to learn as many new skills as possible. Whether it's helping with daily tasks, assisting in local projects, or lending a hand in any way, I am a fast learner and am committed to giving my best. I am very excited about the prospect of meeting new people, exploring new cultures and making a positive impact through a workaway, so don't hesitate to reach out!

While I don't have a lot of professional experience, I like to think of myself as a very well rounded and capable guy. One of my biggest strengths is that I am a very fast learner and am excited about learning new things. During college I served as student body president of my university, being the representative of 28,000 students. I gained valuable problem-solving, communication, management, and leadership skills through the viewpoint of higher education and business. I also recently completed my TEFL certification and am able to teach english if the opportunity arises.
