Description
I'll be very honest, I started this journey looking to find myself and be more honest with myself. I never thought I would so much connect with people from completely different cultures and it is very important to realize that it is not just me who is looking for answers.

I think this is a path of no return, no return to my old self and to the concept of the people who once knew me.

I'm a Brazilian passionate about art, one of the reasons I spent so much time teaching. I simply love seeing people shine when they manage to create something they like, it's like seeing a happy child playing with their favorite toy.

Today I don't work as a drawing teacher, and I'm focusing on my career as a freelancer, which is allowing me to travel.

I believe that volunteering is something that makes a difference in society, I participated in several projects, especially for the LGBT community and children and teenagers. I want to expand my experiences and in the future start a similar project involving art.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Being a teacher for a few years helped me to be a patient person (super necessary on these days), but ADHD self is craving for creating and improving projects.

Good skills in arts (@Rafa_amorimu) and I can learn super fast in this topic.

I Have experience in a farm, most of them of taking care and feeding the animals, cleaning their spaces, I have a little experience in gardening, but I know each place is different so if your help I can do the way you want.

(Super skill- organizing and cleaning, I’m lost when I’m in chaotic place so probably you gonna see me trying to organize the chaos).

Love spend time with children’s and older people and super open to learn new skills.

I stayed in the Marco’s Farm for a month. It was my first volunteer outside my country and I don't even know how to explain how much I could grow as a person during that time.

Volunteer work took place in the morning from around 7 am until about 11:30 am.
The activities were varied, as there were activities that were everyday (like feeding the… read more animals), I was able to work cleaning the garden during the first days (and it was wonderful to eat the food prepared with the fruit and vegetables produced in the garden, taste wonderful), some days I was helping to clean spaces where the animals live and the surroundings and sometimes I helped Zacarias (fixed farm worker) in some smaller activities, like supporting some activities with dogs.

I asked Marco to let me work a little inside the house, this was not part of the volunteer work, but I just loved the house and wanted to dig every corner of that place (and give back a little of everything he was doing for me, I wanted to cook something for them, but I was afraid of burning the house down T-T hehehehe) and in the end I saw that Marco is a collector. I think he has 300 books or more, lots of books about cooking, animals, literature and more (I wish I had more time to read some of them)

After volunteering you are free to do whatever you want. He always asked me if I wanted a ride when he went into town, and that was very kind of him. I was able to visit the village and take very nice pictures and he has great recommendations on what to visit and do in the city.

Marco is an incredibly friendly person, has traveled a lot and has a lot of experience to share (I wanted to hear the stories of when he was a chef). He cares if you are enjoying volunteering, if you are eating well and adapting to the place and will do everything to make everything closer to your expectations. We laughed a lot because he knew a few words in Portuguese and we kept comparing the meanings in Portuguese , Spanish and Italian.

We had amazing conversations and got to meet his family during the first week and they were super sweet.

I have to say that I never ate so well in my life, I ate many things that I had never tasted, different dishes, and flavors and we watched series or tv shows while we ate and talked. In the first days it was a mixture of Italian, Spanish and English in the same conversation and it was super fun. He made a point of explaining something to me if I didn't understand what they were talking about. I felt really welcomed by everyone.

Ps¹: Ask Marco which gloves and repellant he recommends, I think I bought the cheapest ones and they didn't last long. :v

Ps²: The animals are very friendly, especially the dogs, cats and donkeys. (donkeys are super cute <3).

I highly recommend this volunteer.

I'll tell you the same thing I said when I said goodbye to Marco (holding my tears the whole way heheheh)
