Hello,
My name is Lelo and I’m a singer and performer planning to be travelling in Montenegro, Serbia and Albania from March 13th (in a week) to June 10th.
I’m looking for a volunteer exchange where I can contribute to the community's or project's wellbeing in exchange of shelter and food.

I lived 4 years in community spaces in canada where i was a strong help for optimizing the space, do emotionnal work and contribute to social events. I love love love to meet people and take care of spaces that nurtures encounter, skills having and community building and well being. For me, its one of life's purpose and it's gives me a lot of hope in this world that we live in.

I am travelling with my accordeon with my first desire is getting to know that instrument in many ways. It would therefore be an honor to be able to get to stay in a place that welcomes my music and my artistic practice as a way to contribute to the space and the community, in addition to of course, cleaning after me, help cooking and general maintenance of space and energy. I am good vibe, caring, full of love and love to collab in team and work hard when needed.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In that artistic lens,
❤️I would love to create music environments in community spaces or events for the vibe, if desired. I love to sing (see videos below)
❤️I would love to host music jam sessions where all are welcome to play.
❤️I can also learn songs or adapt for specific type of music or vibe to hold space for a event or workshop ( I can, for instance, create very slow vibrations with accordeon during a yoga class.)
❤️I want to hold singing circles. I am fascinated by traditional and folk culture in general and can share tools to better use our voice since I've been in a choir too!
❤️I am a drag artist so I would love to host cabaret/ open mic nights so every one get to show their talent or what they have to say!
❤️karaoke nights are super fun and doable too!

I also studied movement for 15 years and am profoundly interested in wellbeing practices such as singning, sound healing and any physical practices.
❤️I can totally provide improvisation dance workshop, good posture workshop and stretching!

Here are the offerings I deeply would love to give in exchange of shelter and food.
But like I said in my introduction, I can help with construction, optimization, logistics if its what's needed more to nurture the project.


🌟I love to be surounded by people and share meals and activities and chores. I think i would feel very nurtured by being part of a group/ community
🌟I love recieving and giving workshops. I think its one of the purpose of life.
🌟I love when there is a lot of movement but calm and slower rythme syur me very well too. i know how to adapt and manage energy and expectation to fit both the community's needs and my own depending on the timeline of the project.

Of course, i would love to ear from the hosts, to get to know what's the community's/project's energy and needs and desires right now. I am willing to adapt the proposal if needed for a better encounter. 🌱
