Description

Hi I'm Peter! I'm an animator who is looking to get out of my comfort zone by travelling to new places, experiencing different cultures, learning new skills and becoming confident in myself.

Being introverted most of my life, I have been introspective and got to know myself well. An artist who likes to work on projects, work hard in general and most importantly someone who is happy in their own company and thoughts.

However, in being so aware of myself, I know that I lack certain skills, life experiences and things about myself I would like to change (which can't be done in the comfort of my own room!).

Although I spend most of my time at home, I do enjoy outdoor activities such as gardening and helping people out with general maintenance and being called upon when friends need a hand moving home. Sometimes, nothing can beat a day of working hard in the sun and relaxing with a nice meal.

I like being someone who can be relied on, even if I need a bit of teaching and a helping hand at first. Someone who is an active listener. Can be a leader and a team player. Patient and caring.

This year (2023) has been great with regards to breaking out of my shell. I've been more outgoing and socialised more with friends and family. However it's also been a year of personal goals that weren't met. I'd like to finish this year by doing something completely outside my comfort zone by spontaneously travelling, working in and experiencing new countries and cultures with my far more experienced travel buddy and closest compadre, my brother Adam. I would love to do these new experiences and activities with someone who has done more than their fair share of travelling, someone I can trust and build more joyous memories with.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Computer skills - as a digital animator I've got basic computing skills, software & browsing knowledge
Manual labour - Aside from going to the gym, I have worked in gardens, moving heavy objects and have good stamina.
Cleaning - My current lifeguarding job consists of a lot of cleaning and maintenance tasks
Basic cooking skills (something I'd like to improve!).
Videography skills - I do camera work on projects with my brother and post production editing.
NPLQ - Qualified Lifeguard
