Hiya! My name is Pelle! During Dutch summer of 2025 I graduated as a PE teacher and I'm currently travelling thtough Australia, Asia and New-Zealand. I'm just trying to meet new people, experience more of the world and make it a better place as I go along :)

Friends describe me as an enthusiastic, energetic, sportive and driven person. I like to work with and help others to find solutions for all kinds of problems. I like working with other people, with animals, and am quite capable on computers. My motto: “facing challenges with a smile”.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

A quick overview of my skills:
- Able to interact with (new) people easily
- Good at picking up new skills
- Small event organisation (school camps, scouts camps, sports days)
- Well developed skill to adapt to a broad range of people
- High level of physical fitness (E.G. obstacle runs, marathon running, canoeing, rock-climbing)
- Experience in hospitality (dishwashing, bakery)

When generally describing my skills, I would say I'm good at learning new things. I work very well with others. Whether is elderly people, children or persons with a physical or mental disability.

More professionally speaking, I have a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education. So I'm very capable of teaching children, specifically different kinds of sports. Furthermore, I have ~3 years of experience in fitness training, giving classes and instructions.

I also did several types of volunteering work; I went for weekly bike rides with a 25 year old man who has Cerebral Palsy. This was to give him some more physical activity.
Then there is also the time I have been with the scouts, 'Padvinders' in Dutch :)
I used to teach and lead the 7-11 year old kids for the last 7 years! We taught them all kinds of things, how to interact with other people, how to interact with nature, learning how to tie knots and make fires. We would end every season with a scout's camp, 7 days and 6 nights of entertaining the kids and making sure they get enough food.
