Hey, my name is Paula and I live in Germany. I finished college in the beginning of 2023. I have stayed in the US for a year, after I have finished school which was an amazing experience, so I want to work in a different country again and travel before starting to work in Germany. I had my first workaway experience on a campsite in Sweden and am currently staying with a hostfamily in New Zealand. I think working in a different country is a great way to get to know the culture, to meet new people and to make friends.
I spend a lot of my free time with my friends, we love to watch movies, cook together, play games or hang out in cafes. I also try to do some sports from time to time, I started to learn kickboxing, which is lots of fun!
I am an easy going person, I like to be outside and explore new places.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience working with costumers from working in a movie theater for almost 3 years now. Before that I worked at a waterski and wakeboarding place, where I gained experience in the field of gastronomy, among other things.
I learned to handle stressful situations and would describe myself as reliable and open to learn new things.
I took care of children during my gap year as an AuPair and also gained experience in childcare during my internships in elementary schools.
These jobs have shown me that I really like to work with other people.
