Description
I have spent the majority of my adult life living and travelling around the UK on various different boats, from narrow boats on the canal system to sailing boats around the coast. I've started to feel that this type of traveling has become too "safe"... after all wherever I have gone I've had my home with me.
So now is time for a new period in my life to widen my horizons, which can all to easily narrow as we mature and travel, meet new people, share experience and try to help others.
My experience with boats means I'm competent with off grid living and have no problems with electrical, plumbing or maintenance work.
In a work and voluntary settings, I have experience of working with volunteers, advice giving, child protection, end of life visiting...and much much more!

Im learning Spanish and am at intermediate level for reading and listening, if it's not too fast, but need much more practice with speaking. As a native English speaker I'm more than happy to help anyone learn or improve their English.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I am competent with electrical work, both mains and off grid, as well as plumbing and general maintenance. I have fitted out numerous boats and completed all the electrical, plumbing, gas, woodwork etc. myself, although I don't have formal qualifications in any of these.
Outside of manual work I have experience with working with volunteers and third sector organisations as well as advice provision and child protection. I've also undertake end of life visiting.
