Hey!

Welcome to our profile, we are Kačka (from the Czech Republic) and Paul (from Scotland).

For the past few months, we have been travelling around the Balkans, having been to Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Serbia and Albania. After that we spent 2 months in Ireland. Having enjoyed touring around these countries we are looking to learn some amazing new life skills, utilise those we already have, and welcome whatever new experiences we are lucky to encounter along the way. From March 2025 we will be travelling in South East Asia.

For the both of us we enjoy the simple pleasures and privileges in life: exploring new locations, uncovering the history of the towns and countries we visit, meeting new people and experiencing new ways of living and viewpoints. Alongside that we are keen readers and avid writers, and love any opportunities to get our creative juices flowing.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Being a couple, we have a range of similar (and not so similar) skills. Having been on the road together for the past month we have learned how to utilise our different strengths in the most productive ways.

Kačka is fluent in: Czech, English and Spanish. Her background is in hospitality, translating, and copywriting . Having written numerous articles for one of the Czech Republics biggest fantasy magazines and working for leading marketing agencies. She also has a strong understanding of website SEOs , excellent people and selling skills. Coming from a teaching family and being a former student of CUNI's Faculty of Teaching, she also has experience with tutoring and working with children and young adults (as well as adults).

Paul is fluent in English, even if the Scottish accent might make it seem otherwise. His background is in fitness, having worked as a Personal Trainer for over 7 years, during which time he set up and ran every aspect of his own business (marketing, administrative work, selling etc). Alongside that there is also a background of bar work, manual labour, work in pharmaceutical labs and administrative work in an educational environment, working with children and young adults from various backgrounds. He has completed a HND in Fitness, a HNC in Computer Games Development, and is currently studying an online B.A. in Creative Writing and Philosophy with the Open University.

Alongside the skills mentioned above we both have strong project management, people, selling, and time keeping skills. We are both self motivated, hard workers, creative individuals that are not afraid of an honest days work and getting our hands dirty. We may come from more office-based backgrounds but we like our time in and with nature.
