Description

I'm Patrick from (Northern) Ireland, currently studying French and Italian at the University of Cambridge.

I am an artist and love all things creative, specifically painting and drawing. I love music too - I sing and play the flute. I enjoy spending time in nature, meeting new people and sharing about my culture whilst encountering new ones. This is a new chapter in my life in which I’m trying to challenge myself to invest in new experiences and to try new things.

I am a respectful and discreet individual. I am also generally reserved, but not shy. I love chats and getting to know people on a personal level, and I have an open-minded approach to all ways of life.

Currently, I'm particularly interested in improving my Italian or French!

I love languages - I am studying French and Italian at university. I speak French pretty fluently but I have a lot of work to do for my Italian. Therefore, I will happily share my English and French skills, but hope to learn some Italian or other languages!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience in several domains.

Having worked professionally in the hospitality industry for more than 1 year, I have great customer service skills and I am capable of completing a wide range of domestic tasks. I have also helped with outdoor projects, DIY work, and gardening, in my house and for other friends and family. I will complete each task to the best of my ability and I am very open to doing something completely new!

I know the importance of taking responsibility and maintaining high standards since I run my own art business, selling my original paintings - I would love to share more about this if it's of interest!

I have great problem solving skills and I take initiative instead of waiting round to be told what to do next. I enjoy working with children too and have gained experience through being a leader at children's camps at home, as well as in France and Italy,
I speak English as my mother tongue, and have a passion for teaching it too. I speak French pretty well (a C1 level).

I can also drive, though I am used to driving on the left side of the road which isn't very helpful for mainland Europe!
