Hi, welcome to our profile :)

We are Pato and Juampi, two Uruguayans who started traveling five years ago and still haven't found the way to stop. Getting to know other cultures, exchanging and learning from what each place and person has to teach us has become our great passion and has nourished us in unthinkable ways. But before continuing, here is a little piece of our story:

In 2019 after 7 years together we got married. I (Pato) graduated in Sociology, and we decided to go out into the world to travel for 9 months. We were so lucky to be able to visit more than 40 countries and keep the list open so it continues to grow :)

In 2020 we returned home (Uruguay) where Juampi finished university and graduated as an Architect. A few months later, we took another plane to start a new adventure. This time we went far away, to the land of kangaroos, Australia. We lived there for a year and a half. A time not only full of adventures, but also of jobs that we had never thought of doing before and where we had fun and learned a lot. It was a year and a half of living in remote places, daring to cross the desert, meeting incredible people along the way, and lots and lots of growth.

But our time in those lands was ending and we decided to cross the ocean and continue our journey to a new destination. This time we came to Europe, and our new adventure continued in the Netherlands. With a cultural exchange visa we lived there for almost a year, a unique destination and very different from anything we had experienced before.

Today, already ending our year in the Netherlands and before starting our next adventure, we decided to live the experience of volunteering somewhere where we could contribute our grain of sand to some nice project and continue learning and growing. At the same time, we really like the idea of ​​being inspired by people who are creating projects that seek to generate an impact on the awakening of humanity's consciousness :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Although we have both worked in our profession for about 10 years, traveling we have learned to do a little of everything. We have worked in hospitality, hotel management, maintenance, painting and fixing things, gardening, construction and also in a kitchen or a cafe. We also worked in a factory processing almonds where we learn how to operate large machines and devices.

All of these experiences allowed us to get to know each other even more and discover ourselves outside of the office jobs to which we were used to. It is for all this that we consider ourselves good at learning new skills, accepting challenges and giving our best. We can jump into physical work as well as roles with more responsibility and autonomy in which we already have some experience. We really like working as a team, learning from others and exchange knowledge. We are flexible and adapt easily to new situations.

About ourselves.

Pato: I am a calm and positive person who loves deep conversations and philosophizing about life. I like astrology, crystals, incense, lavender, rosemary and the whole mystical world. I am a lover of nature, I feel that it is my direct connection with the most essential part of myself. I like music and I really enjoy singing. I am vegetarian and I love animals. I am a social, flexible person who adapts to any type of situation.

Juampi: He is very energetic and curious, you will always find him doing something around. He loves learning new things, meeting new people and places. Enjoys music and percussion, everything can be a drum for him. Lover of nature and animals, minimalism, and architecture. He marvels at the simple things in life, loves to enjoy a good plate of homemade food and light a bonfire to share a wine. He is a very social, flexible and cheerful person, with a helpful attitude and always ready for the next task.
