Hello everyone, I´m Paloma from Spain! Over the past ten years I’ve lived in different countries, and now I’m based in Barcelona. These experiences have made me feel like a real citizen of the world : I feel curious, open minded, and always ready for new adventures.

I’m currently taking a professional break to follow a long time dream: volunteering and traveling abroad (Latin America and Asia)
. I’m a very energetic and active person — I love being on the move, discovering new cities and towns, and saying yes to spontaneous plans. Helping others truly makes me happy, and I’m excited to keep learning, practicing languages, and discovering new cultures along the way.

I really enjoy cultural activities, visiting museums, learning about history or art history (without being an expert), and exploring places that tell stories about the people who live there.

Sports are a big part of my life too. I enjoy outdoor activities, especially volleyball and hiking. I’m always up for a trek, a long walk, or anything that involves being outside and moving.

I’m also passionate about languages — I speak several and I love practicing them whenever I can. Connecting through language is one of my favorite parts of traveling.

My professional background is in people management and international mobility, a mix of Human Resources and law that has taught me a lot about empathy, communication, and adapting to different environments.

I also love interacting with children and nature, exploring new places, and meeting people who inspire me and help me see life from different perspectives. I’m curious by nature. This journey is my way of growing, contributing, and enjoying life with purpose.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

• Languages: Bilingual in Spanish and French, good level of English, intermediate level in Portuguese and Catalan. I love learning languages and practicing with anyone who’s up for it.
• People & project skills: My background is in people management and international mobility (a mix of HR and law). I’m used to coordinating projects, working with different cultures, staying organized, and really listening to people. I adapt quickly and enjoy taking initiative when needed.
• Caregiving: I volunteer in Barcelona with older people, offering company and support to help reduce loneliness. I’m also very involved in caring for my two grandmothers and my grandfather — taking them out for walks, calling them every week, and helping with whatever they need. Being a caretaker feels natural to me; I’m patient, empathetic, and reliable.
• Kids & teaching: I’ve worked with children in summer camps and as a babysitter. I also have tutoring experience and have guided tourist tours. I love talking to people, explaining things, and creating a warm, friendly atmosphere.
• Hands on help: I can help with general maintenance and gardening if you show me the basics + cleaning. I enjoy being outdoors and learning practical tasks.
• Sports & outdoors: I love sports, especially volleyball and hiking. I’m always ready for a trek, a long walk, or any outdoor activity.
• Personal vibe: Curious, proactive, organized, and very sociable. I enjoy learning new things, meeting different people, and helping wherever I can.
