Hi Everyone!
My name is Christine and I am from California! I have traveled internationally for fun, as well as within the States for my profession as a travel occupational therapist. I previously taught English in Korea for a year and loved the experience as I got to truly meet the locals and learn about their daily lives. We all have 24 hours in a day, but it can be spent so differently depending on one's culture, physical environment, and lifestyle. I have a great desire to experience life on a farm, learn how to milk a cow, learn about sustainable living, build and design my own home, and learn about permaculture design. What better way to do all that than to travel and meet people around the world who have a passion in those areas and learn from them first-hand?
Most people believe that I am an extrovert as I have a cheerful and energetic presence, but I would say that I am an extroverted introvert. I truly enjoy meeting others and learning about their life experiences, but I also enjoy my time alone to recharge. I enjoy hiking (with a great view at the top), exploring hidden gems, reading, knitting, and cooking.
Personally, I consider myself a responsible, honest, and respectful person especially when I am incorporating myself into other cultures and homes. I have skills in cooking, cleaning, caring for children and the elderly. I am eager to learn and would love to help with gardening, sustainable living, farm work, and house building, but am also open to all other projects a host may want to do! Excited to meet everyone and exchange cultures with them!

Photography and editing, moderate tech support, ergonomics. I work as an occupational therapist in the hospital setting (acute care) and in the elementary school setting so lots of experience working with children and adults with special needs/disabilities. Bachelors in Anthropology, Minor in Applied Developmental Psychology, Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
