Hello to all Hosts and other Workawayers! :)

My name is Odamée, I am 21 years old and currently living and studying in Berlin.
I would describe myself as a really positive and openminded person. I love to be around people and my friends sometimes call me "sunshine" ("Sonnenschein" in German). With them I enjoy to just hang out in a park, read books together, run around town, or talk for hours in cute cafés. If I need to refill my social battery I am trying to be creative by doing arts and crafts, editing videos and writing.

With a workaway journey I am seeking an adventure while also meeting new people. Espiacially getting to know new cultures and countries is my goal. I always feel like a cultural exchange makes me learn more than I ever did in school. We can learn so much from each other. Not only about different life paths but also about new food, music, traditions and laguages.

Even if I travelled quite a lot in the last three years I did not try Workaway yet. This is why I am even more excited to start a new adventure involving a little work in exchange for so much more. I am looking forward to a good time with interesting people and so much to learn.

I love the language exchange that is possible when you travel. I always want to learn about new languages. Currently I am learning Turkish and in my latest travels I was able to get to know a little Arabic and Suaheli. I can teach German (I also want to become a German teacher maybe one day), English and some French.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am not that bad with everything crafty, as I like to do it in my free time.
I also love to be creative and think about new ways to do things.
One of my passions is working with other people, especially kids and teenagers. I've worked at an international school for one year, did voluntary work in Zanzibar and am currently working with kids with special needs. I've always enjoyed planning creative activities involving painting, music or other ways of expressing yourself.
I tend to have a lot of ideas and to have the motivation to work on them right away (Not alway of course... Sometimes I also need to just chill and watch a good movie :) )
