I'm Nuria Hugas, I'm 24 years old and I was born in Barcelona but 4 years ago I left my hometown to study and work in Girona.

I consider myself an outgoing, cheerful, creative, innovative and versatile person.

I have a high interest in discovering and learning from other cultures. I really enjoy meeting new people, sharing experiences, different points of view and different ways of living.

I am passionate about art in its many forms. My interest in the world of art began when I was a child, when I started playing the violin, a discipline that I later combined with rhythmic gymnastics. With these two disciplines I learned about dedication, effort and the importance of teamwork. But at the same time, I realized that I could express what I felt through it and make the public enjoy and get moved.

Later I discovered that you can also tell a story and transmit emotions through a photograph or a video. It was then when my desire to dedicate myself to creation through the visual arts was awakened.

So my interests and the desire to live new experiences outside my hometown took me to Girona, where I studied a Higher Degree in Audiovisuals.

With the foundation of these studies I have been finding my way into the audiovisual field, specializing in artistic photography, art direction and production and editing of video art, video clips and video dance. This last type of creation is my favorite since it unites three of my passions. I find it fascinating to be able to express myself by combining music and movement and capturing it with a camera.

I believe in art as a great way of expression and as a tool for healing the soul. I would like to transmit my passion and knowledge to other people. At the same time I would also like to meet other people interested in art in order to experiment, share, learn, enjoy and create collaborative projects.


On the other hand, I’m interested in learning about different cultures, about the experiences of other people and I would like to experience alternative ways of living in society. That has led me to consider making a documentary to show people around the world that there are many ways to live and enjoy life different from those imposed by the current capitalist and consumerist society. I am convinced that this 21st century must achieve another way of living, more sustainable, more kindly, more aware for better health of the planet and all the people.


I am a nature and animal lover. But I have a predilection for the sea and its marine fauna. I love swimming and diving in the sea. I also like water sports like surfing, kayaking and paddle surfing.

I recently entered the world of yoga and meditation and I can say that I loved it. I would like to continue training and experimenting in these disciplines and also to be able to transmit what I have learned through these disciplines in order to help other people.

My intention is to travel abroad to discover the world and enjoy the beauty of nature, and, at the same time, improve my skills, learn about life, about unknown and different things. All that will make me grow personally and make me able to create from the knowledge that the different cultures and people that I will meet along the way will give me.
