🌎 About Us

Hey there! 👋
We’re an international couple , excited to start our next Workaway adventure together in South America!
I’m Nora 21 years old from Hamburg, Germany, and my boyfriend Halfdan is 25 and from Denmark. We met through our shared love for the sea, nature, and adventure — and now we’re looking forward to combining all of that while learning and helping on a farm or ranch.

I’ve already completed two Workaway stays where I worked with horses for a total of three months. During that time, Halfdan came to visit, which made us both even more excited to do our next project together. I have a lot of experience with horses — I owned my own for many years (you can see them in our gallery photos). I’m especially confident riding outdoors, trails etc and handling different kinds of horses, even untrained ones. I would be very happy to use and develop these skills again during our next Workaway.

Halfdan doesn’t have direct experience with horses yet, but is very happy to learn. We are both educated seafarers and have spent the last year working in the maritime industry. Because of that, we’re both used to hard physical work, teamwork, and being outdoors in all kinds of weather. We’ve also gained lots of hands-on experience with woodwork, maintenance, and repair tasks, and we’re always eager to learn new skills.

We met while sailing and quickly discovered how well we work together — both on the water and on land! We’re positive, adaptable, and reliable people who enjoy meaningful work, meeting new people, and sharing cultural experiences.

Our dream is to find a place where we can contribute, learn about life close to nature, and help with animals, gardening, or daily farm life. We love working outdoors, getting our hands dirty, and being part of a community.

We’re looking forward to meeting kind hosts who are passionate about what they do — we’ll bring motivation, energy, and two pairs of helping hands in return!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are both educated as Sailors and have worked on Sailing and commercial Ships. Halfdan also has experience working for a theater in building stages and working in a Daycare for children with special needs. Nora has experience working Horses and stable maintenance and has also worked a lot in Service.
We are both handy with tools and have done several workaways together doing jobs from gardening, helping on a commercial Farm or running daily tasks in a horse stable.
We are open for all kinds of Work (especially outdoors)
Besides handy skills we love to cook vegetarian food !
