Description

We are a couple in our early 30s originally from Germany and Switzerland. Usually we call Zurich (Switzerland) our home, but since April we are on en open-ended journey in Colombia. We share a love for the outdoors. We enjoy hiking, taking bike rides, and going for swims in lakes and rivers - or the pool, if necessary. On the couch, we love reading or spending time with a foreign language. Before, it was Italian, currently and for obvious reasons, it's Spanish.

We both studied environmental sciences and hence have an interest in all things concerning sustainability and the environment. Before quitting our jobs to travel, Nora worked with life cycle assessments and Kaspar for the Swiss Federal Railways.

When traveling, we are less interested in checking the boxes of as many places as possible but rather get a more profound understanding of those we visit. For this, we figured that workaway is perfect as it allows us to see and do things that are out of reach and sight on a normal trip.
