Hi there ! I'm Marine, French, 25 years old and I work in social and environmental transitions. I work a lot on a computer, so I try to spend the most of my free-time outside - that's why I so enjoy workaways !
I already had several workaway experiences in Norway and France. I am so happy to finally have time to set up a new one !

People often describe me as a friendly and smiling person, but also as dreamy and idealistic. I would portray myself as a social introvert : I love chatting and discovering new people and ways of thinking, but I also need some time alone to recharge my batteries.
In terms of work, I always give the best of myself. I am hardworking, and I have absolutely no problem to get my hands dirty.

About my main interests and hobbies : I love animals and never get tired of taking care of them. It is one of the reasons why I have gradually ended up with a 0 meat diet. I can eat meat if I have to, but I would prefer not to.
I recently began to learn to play ukulele. If you also like music, I would love to share sing and play moments with you. I also really enjoy cycling (I did several bike trips these last years) and hiking (I am gradually crossing the Pyrenees on the GR10, step by step) ! Reading has also always been a huge part of my life, and I am always looking for advice of new authors.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I think the most important skill that I have is my ability to learn fast. I am always highly enthusiastic to learn new things, especially when it serves a meaningful purpose. I particularly want, during my workaway experience, to learn to make things with my hands, so I would be really happy to help in any building, gardening, farming task if it is needed!

I am at ease with animals, and would be happy to take care of them as long as you teach me their specific needs.

I have not so much experience with children, but I would be pleased to spend time, to play and laugh with your little ones..

I learnt to cut wood for winter in my last workaway experiences. I can also do basic fixing on bikes.

Thanks to my studies, I also have a bit of theoretical knowledge in a lot of fields (mathematics, mechanics, optic, electricity, algorithmic...) and skills and expertise in biotechnologies. If you are interested in learning about this subject, I can surely share my knowledge with you !

I can also teach French, my mother tongue. I have already tutored people in mathematics, so maybe I can help if anyone want explanations in this field.

To sum up with: I have no particular skill at the moment, but my enthusiast will surely allow me to learn new things fast and be quickly efficient to help you :)
