Hi everyone! I'm Nina. I'm 29 years old and I come from Northern Finland. I'm an occupational therapist. Past eight years I've been solo traveling and learning about new cultures and also having a great time. Once in a while I like to stay in Finland and when I do, I work in a kindergarten with 1-6 years old kids. It's a very dear job to me but I feel like I can only stay put for some period of time until it is time to go explore again.
I am joyful, but yet calm and social woman. I like being and working with people. I'm caring person, always ready to listen if needed. I am trustworthy, self-imposed, punctual and hardworking. Organizing things is really my thing (I love doing lists ;D.. and laundry, I know it is weird..) I'm always ready to try new things even if it's hard to start. I like sports, reading, studying languages and traveling of course.
Traveling is truly my passion. I'm always interested to meet new people, making friends for lifetime and collecting unforgettable memories =)

I spent a month volunteering here and I loved it. Hostel itself is super nice. Every night there was night activities what was fun because you get to know so many new people and just enjoy your time with others. I spent almost a month volunteering in this hostel. I really liked the place and best part was the terrace, where you can see volcanoes. Work was 30 hours per week, mainly reception and some cooking for other volunteers. We had two meals included on our working days and two days off. I spent 6 amazing weeks in this hostel with the family. I truly left my heart to this place. Hostel is so nice and cosy and close to the beach. Work was easy, only 4 hours per day and 6 days a week. Hands down the best volunteer for the season. Nina is an extremely motivated and hard worker. She was an absolute pleasure to have around and made guests feel at home. Words wont do her justice... she is truly one of a kind and is sorely missed each and every day at this place <3
