Hello !

My name is Nicolas, I'm French and I'm 23. I have two brothers: an older brother, Etienne, and a younger brother, Benjamin. I grew up in the Paris region and did part of my studies in the South of France.

I've just graduated from an engineering school specialising in renewable energy and the environment, and before I start work I want to travel, see lots of different landscapes, meet people, discover other cultures... My curiosity drives me to learn new things and one of the things I'd like to do is improve my English!

The sea, the mountains... I love both, but I have to admit that I prefer the sea. I was lucky enough to spend all my summers there when I was a child. I like swimming, volleyball, kitesurfing from time to time... I rarely turn down a hike, whether it lasts 2 hours or a week, like the GR20 in Corsica. I also love skiing!
A series or a film from time to time will please me. I can be a bit introverted at first, and a bit of calm from time to time can do me good. But don't worry, I've got energy to spare.
I'm not afraid of manual work. I've helped my parents and grandparents a lot in the garden and with DIY. I've been a Scout for almost 15 years and I've been looking after young Scouts of all ages (from 9 to 17) for 5 years. So I get the chance to play with them, listen to them and pass on what I know while learning from them.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Having been a Scout for a long time, I'm very resourceful. I've learned to be creative by building lots of things with what's at hand. I've built tables, benches, raised tents, rafts and sailed on them for days...

I garden with my father every year and occasionally with my grandparents. I've learned to trim hedges and trees, and look after the vegetable garden.

On top of that, my engineering studies have given me a wealth of knowledge in science, coding, project management ... I've taught children aged 8 to 17 as a volunteer for some time.

I was able to paint a couple of times and also repair some furniture or small electronic devices.
