Hi, we are two 27 year old Germans who are looking forward to meeting new people, develop new skills, and improve the language.
We both spend some time travelling through different countries and always loved the workaway experiences.

Infos about Nick:
During my study-times in the German City Leipzig and my travels, I've worked in a lot of different jobs, which gave me a great skillset and let me lern to adapt to new tasks very easily. Some of my jobs were: waiter, cashier, shop- and security assitant, mover, farmworker, construction helper and tour guide for nature experiences with children.
As I am big into outdoor activities in general, I enjoyed working as an ornithologist after finishing my geography studies.
Furthermore I like sports, cooking, being a part of social activities, and am always up for a new challenge.
Since I already travelled 3 years throughout New Zealand, Asia, Europe, North America and now Australia, I am looking forward to adding new experiences.

Infos about Käthe:
After just finishing my masters in civil engineenering, specialized in environmental friendly materials such as wood or clay-soil constructions, I decided to take some time off and explore Australia.
I am usually based in Berlin, but love spending time in the nature. Currently I am renovating the house my grandparents used to live in as a side project with some friends and remodeling the garden, which comes along with lots of battles against wild blackberry bushes and dead wood.
Besides that I love spending time with friends, exploring new things and seeing new places. I travelled through North America, where I experienced amazing workaway connections while helping out in a small Pizza place, with childcare and on apple and macadamia nut farms. After my University semester abroad, Nick and I worked on a small island next to Vancouver gathering dead wood out of the forest and protecting it from wildfires.

Infos about Nick: During my time travelling and living alone in the German city Leipzig I developed different skills. I had jobs as a waiter, cashier, shop assitant, security assistant, mover, farmworker, construction helper, housekeeper and tour guide for nature experience with children. Since I studied Geography many of my interests are nature-oriented.

Infos about Käthe: Due to my studies in civil engieering I spend some time working in a joinery and on construction sites. Besides that me and my friends are currently renovating the house my grandparent used to live in and remodeling the garden. Next to that I had some jobs in customer service at a theater, childcare and farmwork.

We both are hard worker, punctual, flexible and enjoy working in a team. Due to our previous jobs we are able to adapt easily to a new environment and are always willing to learn new things.
