Hello workaway community, it is such a pleasure joining you as a new workawayer 😊.
My name is Nawal AIMENE, I'm 26 years old, and I'm from Algeria.
Being kabyle ( kabyle people are descending from the big family of Amazigh who are the original inhabitants of Northern Africa), I grew up in a mountaineous village, where i learnt how to be free, running in all ways like wind, always being surrounded by animals since my family raises them( sheeps,
goats, chickens, rabbits, donkey, dogs, cats) , when I was little it was like an adventure , having all that greenness and animals around, but it gave me ore than that , that environment helped me to have a better communication with animals and wild life, and a good relationship with myself, plus I grew up in a family who teached me and my brothers and sisters to be independant, so I learnt how to cook for myself and for the family, handle all different homework, I try to fix and repair broken stuff, and when I was studying in University, I had a part time job working as a waitress.
All of this helped me in a way to see through me, to find out about my love for words, YES writing is my passion, it gives me what I need, a world of mine where time has no power or influence on me, I feel free every time I write, so i want to make it to grow in me, feed it with my curiosity , with my beliefs, I believe in humanity, in the cultural diversity that makes it acolorful puzzle, each piece has its own shape and color, but it has always its own place and value in the big picture, without it, the piece next to won't be completed by itself.
Besides writing, I had this interest in drawing manga's , it is like writing, but not with words, it is with lines and shapes, and I would to develop it in me. Also I love reading books , raising pets and being around animals and nature, so I walk a lot and I love jogging and hiking. Also I love helping my mother with gardening and with our small organic farm,and of course without forgetting our seasonal olive harvesting, it is like a tradition for us Berbères.
I grew up learning how to be flexible and independant, always excited to learn new skills, which is gonna make me grow stronger, responsible, and wiser, to see further to the horizon, so that we'll have a better, safer, place for all of us, for Earth.
