Bonjour,

Rayan Amara here, 31-year-old French citizen
I lived in India for 3 years first as a volunteer then working full-time in an international school. This country and the Holistic Approach of the Sages living there is very close to my heart.

A constructive individual by nature, very interested in Psychology, Self-help, personal development....!!

I am an open-minded God-believer and I followVegetarian Diet.

Besides my intellectual skills and tendencies, I had volunteered a lot in my early 20s on organic farms. So I am also no rookie to manual work.

My comment though extremely positive for the school and their members will seem a little less applicable than the others. In fact I volunteered at the TTS with the purpose of becoming an actual teacher/resident in India. I stayed in Faizabad 3 months before realizing that its summer was too extreme for me.

It was a pleasure to host Mr. Rayan from 20th October to 28th November’22. During his stay he was found to be good natured and devoted to the task undertaken by him.
He worked in the following institutions of our organization and contributed wholeheartedly in the following ways.
Mr. Rayan interacted with the children of Class 4. He introduced… read more himself and tried to check the language of the children that how much he will be understood by them. He had some informal discussion regarding India that how many places, cities and states did they visit? Did somebody visit other country? Children became friendly with him and took only a day to mix up with him and become comfortable.
Mr. Rayan and the teachers made a webbing and jotted down the points related to the project 'France' by keeping age appropriateness in mind. We decided on the topic ‘The map of Europe along with its neighbouring countries’. In this way for 15 days, he discussed about the borders, their special features and how the countries are separated.
His main focus was to make the children aware about France. He gave a virtual tour to the children. Gave a lot of visual exposures for each and every topic he discussed. Worksheets were also given to the children related to the musical instruments used in France so that they get familiar with the instrument as well as with the picture.
He covered the geographical features, History (French Revolution in brief), language, GK, recipes, flag etc. to name a few.
Overall, it was a great learning for our children and Mr. Rayan too liked the involvement and positive approach of the children and teachers.
J B Academy –
One month session with Mr. Rayan was extremely fruitful, engaging and exciting. Children of Class 6th to 9th enjoyed a lot under his able guidance. He told the students about the importance of French language, job opportunities as well as made everyone aware about the opportunities for further studies in France.
They also came to know about some new words of French language and their use in their daily life. Moreover, he also talked about some French etiquettes to our students.
While teaching sometimes he used smart boards. Some other interesting activities were also undertaken in the class. Overall classes were impressive. Children had a great exposure of the language and its usage.
He took up French revolution in Class 9th which gave better insight to students as they became more curious and gained deeper understanding of the revolution and its implications as it was being discussed by a French himself.
We wish him a happy and successful life, always.
