Actuellement, nous sommes

Description

We are Nadja and Markus and are living in Canada since August 2023. We are lucky enough to be able to explore this wonderful country together as part of our Work and Travel Visa.

We both have a valid Work and Travel Visa, a social insurance number and a candian bank account - so we are ready to work :)

Here in Canada we worked on a farm on Vancouver Island, in which we were able to take care of wonderful creatures like donkeys, chickens, cows,... We also did housekeeping, all kind of gardening tasks and handcrafting. On weekends we managed birthday parties for kids between the age of 4-12 years all by ourselves. In was a great option to teach the kids something about this wonderful farm and of our amazing animals.

We are in the Yukon area right now, working at a local gas station / grocery store / motel, in which we are staying until end of February. Our duties include serving costumers, to work at the cash desk, to check in new guests as well as housekeeping.

Back in Germany, Nadja (33) is a self-employed midwife and has just finished her studies in psychology. She worked in New Zealand for a year - among other things on two dairy farms (6 months in total) and as a cleaner.

Markus (30) was a senior manager in a health insurance company before we left Germany and finished my studies in business administration two years ago. Right now I am studying sustainable management on a masters degree.

We love to work with animals, to explore nature and go hiking. We are also very keen in learning new things, so we are very open regarding job opportunities,
