Description
Hello! I am Lucy.
At the risk of being a redundant read, I really do love to learn. But most exciting for me is to do it by practice. I’m motivated by the challenge of adapting to life wholeheartedly! I take the most joy in witnessing and being apart of processes, and the endless processes within them. For example, at home I make pottery; harvest, clean, throw, sculpt, dry, fire, glaze and re-fire. The fun of it is the practice of getting better! I taught the children at the school I worked at and so the work continues! This is a small example of my love for thinking in systems. I hope this gives an idea of my passions!

I would love to learn as much of any language outside of English as possible, I’m currently teaching myself Italian and Spanish, and I would be happy to try my hand at teaching English!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Most of my work experience is in assistant teaching and restaurant service. I was an assistant teacher at an all out-door school for three years with children ages 5-10. I helped mostly with social/emotional development, and it was my greatest pleasure to be apart of this process, but did teach some curriculum as well! I’ve served cumulatively for also about three years, primarily in fast paced environments, I enjoy the endless opportunities to be social and adaptable. Apart from these, I’ve loved being a babysitter, camp counselor, Busser, house cleaner, working in retail, on small farms, and sometimes commissioning art. I am best at pottery, but I sometimes batik, watercolor, and painted a mural recently!
