Hi I’m Hiram!
I’m 19 years old and grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, and I have also lived in France, England and Scotland.
I am interested in architecture, especially alternative eco friendly designs.
I have been a Scout since I was 6 years old and enjoy being in the outdoors and working with people.
I love travelling and learning new skills. My favourite hobbies include repairing, solving problems and building new projects.
I am very hardworking and resilient, I integrate well into teams and enjoy talking and having fun with others. On the other hand I am equally good at working by myself and very capable of getting on efficiently with whatever needs to be done.
I am looking forward to travelling in Europe, and excited to meet new and wonderful people!

Hi I'm Molly!
I'm 19 years old and I grew up in England and later Scotland.
I am passionate about all things to do with history and music, as well as exploring new places and discovering new cultures.
I have travelled a lot within the UK (I lived in a caravan for 5 months travelling) and am really looking forward to my travels in Europe.
I am quiet and very organised, and I really enjoy looking after animals and doing practical work around the house. I am very hands-on and love cooking and working outdoors.
I have good management skills which lend themselves well to all these things, as well as work such as tidying and cleaning.
I am very excited to meet and work with new friends, discover new places and experience new cultures!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We have lots of varied skills between us!
Hiram:
I have skills in building, maintenance, electrics, plumbing and general repairs. My years as a Scout have taught me good social and outdoor survival skills. I attended a school of fine carpentry in France where I learned advanced wood carving and joinery. My father is a blacksmith and he taught me forging, metal work, leatherwork and welding. I also worked at a pottery where I learned how to turn, finish and glaze different ceramics. I have helped renovate several houses and have the skills and knowledge associated with this. I have achieved my RYA dinghy sailing Level Two which means I am capable of sailing a boat alone and have practical knot tying skills. I have gardening and landscaping experience as well. I am bilingual, speaking both English and French fluently. I am physically fit and am well suited to and enjoy labour intensive jobs.
Molly:
I have skills in all kinds of domestic work such as cooking, cleaning, organising, babysitting and gardening. I play the flute and piano, and currently play flute in the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland. I have taught both practical flute and music theory lessons to students. I have a love of working with animals and have worked previously at both a falconry centre and riding stables. This taught me how to work with complex and wonderful animals, and has made me a confident horse rider and handler. I also worked for many years as a babysitter for friends and family so I know how to care for children. I have a lot of experience making and mending clothes and other fabrics items. I love camping and hiking so I have all the skills associated with living in the outdoors far away from towns and other people. Like Hiram, I have also achieved my RYA Level Two in dinghy sailing. I currently work at a castle where I serve as a barista in the cafe.

We both love hiking and camping, and have spent a lot of time living wild in Scotland, so we are very used to living simply and resourcefully.
