Hi!! My name is Molly, I'm 24, half Irish/ Kiwi, and have decided to move away from New Zealand and back to Ireland!! On the way doing a couple of months around the South-East coast of Europe (Greece, Croatia, Albania, Montenegro, etc).
I've decided to try out Workaway as Europe seems a big daunting (and expensive) to take on as a tourist. I would much rather spend a few weeks at places and really get to know and love the area, do some hard work and actually get to know people :))

Having spent a big chunk of my life in NZ, I am very passionate about hiking, conservation and spending time in the outdoors. I studied Fine Arts in Uni and would love to help with any creative projects! Including any hands-on making or building :) I love doing odd jobs and having to learn a new skill or workshop a problem.
I love animals and kids, I have a good sense of fun and love a good yarn, and I can promise I will work hard for my keep :))

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

-> Art: I studied Fine Arts at University. My skills are mostly in painting but extends to photography, videography and textiles. I have painted murals for hostels in New Zealand.

-> Film Industry: I have worked in costume and costume props on film productions. I have basic leather work skills, including belt making and molding. I'm used to keeping up stamina working long hours, problem solving on the fly and learning new hands-on skills fast.

-> Volunteer Theatre: I have experience in Set design and backstage management. So organizing crews, decision making, and hands-on designing, building, painting and dressing sets.

--> Hospitality: I have worked several cafe, bar and club jobs, as well as some retail. I love making sure the flow of service is running smoothly, multitasking and making sure everyone's happy and looked after.

-->I just finished my first Workaway at a Dog Shelter, where I looked after 19 dogs and their specific needs every day and cleaned their kennels. The property also had pigs, ducks, chickens and rabbits which I looked after.

I also have experience in exterior house painting, commercial apple picking, maintaining vege gardens, babysitting and volunteering at on Old Folks home keeping the residents company :))

I really just have a lot of curiosity and excitement about learning new skills, meeting new people and exploring places. I have a lot of random skills that I can apply to any help you need.
Particularly anything creative, I love a collaborative creative project and seeing it through from start to finish.

Hmm,, I also love dogs (all animals of course, but especially dogs!!), Roadtrips (I like seeing new things), Films (unfortunately it is in a pretentious way), I am partial to a long night playing card games (Last Card is a long time personal favorite), me and my friends were regular gig-goers in NZ (of any music genre, but mostly rock), I've recently got back into reading in a big way (I'm currently on Terry Pratchett), and I love love love to be outside or else doing something with my hands!
