Hey,
my name is Lara, not as dangerous as Lara Croft but with just as much energy :)
I love being active, but also enjoy more relaxing things like reading and writing poems or short stories.
I'm primary school teacher with the subjects language and general education, math and my absolute favorite one: art.
Another big passion is Yoga. I'm a licensed instructor for children and I've been doing Yoga in general for years.
Hey,
my name is Mitja (pronounced like 'nice to "meet ya"') !
I went through a 3 year carpentry apprenticeship a couple of years ago, worked since then all over Canada, the United States and here in Germany in construction and recently got my master carpenter certificate.
I would love to help you with any kind of construction project!
My favourite things to do are hiking, kayaking, reading, climbing and listening to and making music. But I'm also up for more exciting things like rafting, skydiving etc.
I'm interested in sustainable living and learning everything about forestry, gardening, building with natural materials and other useful skills.
Thanks for reading!Centres d’intérêt

Lara:
I can help you with many different things inside and outside the house like cleaning, cooking and baking, childcare or gardening. But I've already learned a lot from Mitja, too so we are a great team for building projects.
Furthermore I would love to support your art projects to be part of creating interesting and individual things for your home.
Mitja:
I'm a carpenter, which means I can build and renovate decks, fences, roofs and woodframe houses or just basically anything made of wood!
I also have experience with brick laying, concrete, roofing, paving, painting, installing windows and doors, interior construction and basic plumbing electrical installation.
I like gardening and anything else outside and have a drivers-, trailer license and know how to use bobcats, forklifts and more.
I've got 4 siblings and a big family. I like kids and am used to them.
I also did some guiding with tourists not too long ago, it's nothing I'm licensed at though.Âge

They did a wonderful job looking after our horse, 2 dogs, cat and chicken. They also did a great job with some chores around the house and garden.
They also cooked a very nice dinner and dessert.
We would have loved them to stay much longer!
They were so welcoming and made us feel right at home.
They were flexible with work hours, days off and cooked great vegetarian and vegan food for us and another workawayer. We could also borrow a car whenever we wanted to explore the area.

His skills as a carpenter were greatly appreciated and he is patient as a worker and teacher.
Would absolutely host again.
They drove me to town, showed me around and took me to the gym, which was great.
There's nothing I could tell them to do better as a host, it felt very natural to stay with them and I would definitely come back!
I built a deck at the shore with an amazing view over the inlet. The work was fun and not to much at all!
