Hello,

we are Miriam and Lilli (28 and 30 years old) and are currently travelling Greece with our dog Yuma and will soon make our way to Italy.
We are on a sabbatical starting June 2024. Normally, Miriam is a skilled vegetable gardener. Experiences include driving tractors and building a greenhouse. She is very interested in learning more about regenerative agriculture practices such as market gardening and food forests. She also has some experiences in foraging, conserving and fermenting.
Lilli is a midwife and very interested in the physiology of the (female) body and has advanced training in massages. She has previously worked in a kindergarden as well as with children with special needs.
We enjoy living in a likeminded community and are keen to learn new skills as well as share our knowledge. We are vegan, care for the environment and a sustainable and healthy way of living including healthy cooking.
We are mainly looking to work in gardening/animals (i.e. on a sanctuary) but are also open to other things and keen to get our hands dirty. We have little to no experience with carpentry but would very much like to learn more.
Yuma is a black, 4 year old dog of mixed race. We’re still working on her education as we only got her from the shelter about a year ago. But she is very sociable with humans and dogs alike.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Miriam is a professional, trained vegetable gardener. She likes exploring the outdoors, collecting edible plants and herbs, fermenting and cooking vegan food.
She also has knowledge about machines used in the gardening industries.
She likes to be organised and has a clear vision of the tasks she wants to complete.

Lilli is keen on working in the garden and is a quick learner.
She loves being outdoors and organising, exploring or being together with likeminded people.
She enjoys cooking healthy, vegan food and being surrounded by children and animals.
She has knowledge of physical massage therapie and all kinds of craft skills like knitting, repairing clothes and sowing.

Autres infos...

We are travelling together with our 4 year old rescue dog Yuma. She is very sociable, interested in everything and gets along with other dogs and humans very well.
She usually spends the time sleeping in our van or room whilst we are working and enjoys joining for the free time if possible.
